Hialeah/Hialeah Gardens

Una experiencia cultural

¿Quiere una buena dosis de la cultura hispana? Visite Hialeah.

Expect to see street signs in Spanish, often with no English translation, in this fully immersive neighborhood. By population, Hialeah is the fifth largest city in the State of Florida and has the highest percentage of Cuban Americans in the United States. Hialeah Park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is known for its famous racetrack and equally famous pink flamingos. National and international businesses call this area home, but the streets are equally lined with mom and pop hardware stores and juice stands.

You may find yourself in Hialeah if you're using the Tri-Rail/Metrorail to get to Miami International Airport (MIA). Grab a cafecito or Cuban coffee at a bodega and soak in a demographic like nowhere elsewhere in the U.S.
